About the event
We reclaim remnants and textile industry leftovers and sell them to the local community for very affordable prices, encouraging creative use of second-hand fabrics.
Forest Recycling Project is a local, registered, community charity, leading on reclaim and reuse in Waltham Forest since 1989. Â Most people know us as FRP.
- We reclaim paint
- We reclaim scaffolding boardsÂ
- We reclaim fabricsÂ
- We run a big, inclusive and supported volunteering scheme called Green Champions, and welcome new people signing up. Â You can learn to work with wood or fabrics as part of your volunteering.
- We run Walthamstow Tool Library
- We run events and we are going to be campaigning around reclaim and reuse. Â We often work with others who specialise in repair.
Remember us when you are wanting paint in particular.  We have lots of it and we are the only place in London that does this - and we’re on your doorstep.  It’s also very cheap.!
