Refashion Challenge

Take part in a refashioning challenge, giving new life to waste clothing and textiles. 

Join us as we work from design to finished garment, creating a new outfit from 'waste'.

The Refashion Challenge is suitable for adults with some basic sewing skills.

The Make Do and Wonder team will be supplying a bag of clothing donated by the Salvation Army Walthamstow.

Make do and Wonder re-Made is our range of garments created from unwanted clothing and textiles otherwise destined for downcycling or landfill. We have partnered with our local Salvation Army charity shop. They pass on the items that they cannot sell and we use our creative pattern cutting, sewing and upcycling skills to turn them into new pieces. Get an insight into the process and join the team to see what we can create in 4 hours.
