About the event

Join us for an informal network event for sustainable projects, local businesses and sole traders in Waltham Forest with reuse and repair at their heart.

Find out about our next Reuse and Repair Fairs planned for 2024.

Two more fairs are planned for 2024 featuring:  bike and electronics repairs,   a ‘give & take’ initiative rehoming unwanted, usable items,  tool sharing, re-purposing workshops and re-use demos for the outdoors… toys… household electronics and tech… furniture… and interior decorating.

Each fair will showcase established and new initiatives, businesses and experts specialising in reuse, repair and upcycling, and celebrate local mending clubs. The first fair in this series focused on textiles and fashion - you can have a look at that programme here.

Our aim is for these to be inspiring and fun fairs where visitors pick up great tips, make new connections, get introduced to new skills, sign up to mending clubs and workshops, meet repair experts and take home great condition used items all thanks to the involvement of reuse and repair champions in the borough.

Light refreshments will be available.

Hosted by Waltham Forest Council’s Climate Emergency Team and Waste & Recycling Team. Reuse & Repair Fairs are produced by Artillery CIC in partnership with Forest Recycling Project, Leytonstone Toy Library and Forest Fixers.
