Trip to 42 London

We are excited to invite you to visit 42 London, 'a non-profit Coding School using peer-to-peer learning to inspire tech for good'.

You can find out about their style of learning and sign up for one of their Discovery Weeks held in April or May.

Discovery weeks are open to everyone who will be over 18 years from 1 Sept 2025.

They are intended as an introduction to their core curriculum.

Peer to peer learning - No lectures, no teachers, just collaboration and learning!

You do not require previous knowledge of coding or qualifications, they are seeking students with logic and problem solving skills.

This is what they say about the discovery week

“This free, hands-on introduction to Web Development is designed for all learning styles, embracing creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Whether you’re neurodivergent, new to coding, or just curious about tech, our inclusive, no-teacher, no-tuition approach lets you learn in a way that works best for you.”

They will give us a tour of their facility:

• Co-working space, gaming rooms, meeting rooms, computer clusters. This will be on 2 floors with easy access to all the floors. 

• We can then sit in their new common area on the 3rd floor where we can observe some students taking part in the discovery week at the back. They will give a short (max. 15 minutes) presentation diving a bit into the fun part of our gamified system followed by 20 minutes for any questions you have.

• The tour will be given by Bahareh Fatemi who we have already met, and their new Community Manager Regina Tavabilova who is also a current student at 42 London. 

The common area is a relaxed place with couches, chairs, bean bags, and access to the kitchen for drinks (Tea/Coffee and water).

At Walthamstow Central Station ready to set off together at 1pm (Entrance on Selborne Road, opposite the Bus Station)

Or

At 42 London at 1.50pm (You can wait inside in the seated area to the left as you go in the doors)
