Artillery exists to...
discover what happens when we invite people to collaborate creatively in neighbourhoods,
make visible, share and celebrate people's skills, talent and imagination,
nurture the conditions to collectively transform our experience of where we live, work and play through art.

Who we are
Artillery is a creative micro-business, led by Co-Directors, Morag McGuire & Laura Kerry. Artillery specialises in creative project management combining event production in non-arts spaces with artists mentoring and community development, delivering time sensitive projects within budget. We benefit from advisers sharing expertise in safeguarding, regeneration, business development, cultural equity, digital communication and finance, and engage skilled creative freelancers to build capacity as each project requires.
Morag is currently thinking about creating new traditions with neighbourhoods...
Laura is currently thinking about supporting neurodivergent young people and creatives...

We are working towards a future in which:
Everyone has time and space to discover creative solutions to realise their ideas and ambitions. Doing this in open collaboration, we are all confident in making a contribution while valuing each other’s imaginations and skills.
A future alive with genuine, generous invitations to celebrate collective achievements without hierarchy.
We do this by:
Forever sensing… carefully listening… fiercely creating… gently curating… because our tomorrows depend on it.

Our Approach
Artillery grows projects from conversations on the streets that we share, creating a sense of place through community co-creation.
We encourage and facilitate ambitious open creative ecosystems that interweave with our everyday lives. We nurture, celebrate and support local talent, imagination and skills.
We invite everyone to join in with creative experiments that democratise artistic production and programmes. We believe that everyone has a part to play in developing creative projects and programmes within their communities.
Artillery perceives whole towns and neighbourhoods as art centres. We are committed to bringing artists and creatives together across generations, cultures and lived experience. Our projects happen in the streets, town centres, parks, community spaces and even car parks where people work, live and play.
